The French, who coined this famous phrase, are absolutely right: it really is difficult to choose a men's perfume that your partner will love. Men, even the most predictable ones, are contradictory creatures prone to odd habits: for instance, they might wear the same eau de toilette for decades, then suddenly switch to the trendiest scent that every other man is wearing. It's not easy to satisfy their taste, especially since fragrance trends keep changing. Still, it can't be that complicated. There are always ways to get it right!
Here are some ideas to make it easier:
Don't buy fragrances that appeal to the masses, most of them are equally uninteresting. Give preference to selective, niche cosmetics with rare ingredients. It's better to shop at specialized perfume stores, since they always offer a much wider selection than the perfume section in supermarkets, where the options are far more limited;
