The story of Sora Dora begins in 1920, when 18 year old Antoine Soradora leaves his native Portugal and sets off on a difficult journey to France. Faced with the prospect of working the land like his parents, he chooses instead to pursue his passion for scents, born precisely from his connection with nature while helping them.

Antoine ends up in the small village of Greasque in southeastern France, where he settles into a small cabin provided by a local family. Out of gratitude, he transforms the surrounding land into a true earthly paradise, filled with flowers, aromatic plants and fruit trees. And although he works in a mine, he still finds enough time to tend to his garden, in which every plant becomes a source of inspiration.

When he visits the nearby town of Grasse, known as the world capital of perfumery, Antoine meets the jasmine producer Etienne. A natural, deep connection forms between them, and the idea is born to create perfumes that capture the essence of nature.

The two begin experimenting with scents, and after Etienne's death, Soradora creates his first perfume.

The Sora Dora brand proudly continues the tradition established by Antoine Soradora, who shared his passion for fragrances with his wife, Rose. Their three daughters would later inherit all the knowledge and artistry of perfume creation.
