How Do Women Around the World Smell?
People are predictable creatures, bound by habits and routines, and exceptions only prove the rule. The same goes for fragrances: some women love experimenting with new and different women's perfumes, but far more numerous are those who become attached to certain scents and stay loyal to them for years. Perhaps it's a matter of style, too! Amazon Bestseller decodes the preferences of different nations:
United Kingdom: opinions there are split in two: 43% of women prefer sweet scents, while 55 percent go for bitter and spicy notes. So it's no surprise that the floral Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel and the slightly tart Hypnotic Poison by Dior top the list of the ten most preferred perfumes on the island.

Fun fact: Coco Mademoiselle is also among the favorite perfumes of Bulgarian women, according to a study by Elinor.bg, an online store for perfumes and cosmetics. Along with Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline, Lancome La Vie est Belle, Lanvin Eclat D'Arpege, Calvin Klein Euphoria, Boucheron Quattre, Versace Crystal Noir, Mugler Alien, Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue and Carolina Herrera Good Girl, the 2001 masterpiece by Chanel remains one of the most sought after fragrances among both 20 year old girls and women aged 40+ in our country.

The same holds true in the USA and Australia, where Coco Mademoiselle and Flowerbomb by Victor&Rolf lead convincingly on the list of bestselling fragrances. For now, at least, since according to EuroMonitor International, demand across the Atlantic has recently been growing for more unconventional and unusual perfumes at the expense of classic options.

Germany: women in Germany seem to adore fresh floral scents. Alongside the classic Eternity and CK One by Calvin Klein, however, the rankings also reveal a preference for slightly oriental notes: Le Bain by Joop and Wish by Chopard.
France: when we talk about French women and perfumes, the first thing that comes to mind is Chanel. Paradoxically, though, not a single fragrance by the legendary brand is among the 30 bestselling perfumes at Sephora France. At the top of this ranking are La Vie Est Belle by Lancome and J'Adore by Dior.

Italy: the floral scents of Dior, Chanel, and Dolce&Gabbana convincingly lead among the favorite perfumes of Italian women, but the most important trend emerging among them is a growing preference for unisex fragrances. The unisex classic CK One by Calvin Klein is very popular in Italy.
